I don't know if anyone will even see this post, because nobody looks at my blog anymore, but thank you guys for the two years of great memories. Y'all really shaped my childhood and made me who I am today. Love you.

Hey y'all. I haven't written on this blog since I was 12 years old, which is 3 years ago, so I guess I said goodbye a while ago. But this is official. I'm 15 now, going into my sophomore year in 5 days, and my American Girl Dolls are currently packed up my closet. I've come back to this blog a couple times, read my old posts, and gotten a little melancholy that these dolls don't bring me as much joy anymore. I suppose maybe I'm just growing up, but I still loved this blog. I know that this blog has shaped me into who I am today: I was always writing out stories on either this blog or my old one for 2 whole years. But now it's time to move on. I still check out most of my old AG friend's blogs, and most of them have said goodbye as well. I think blogging has fallen out of style. What is the AG community up to now? Instagram? Youtube? It seems hard to find a single AG blogger still active. Sometimes I wonder, once I'm 19, 20, will I fall back in love with these dolls as many boys grow in, out, and back into Legos when they grow up? Is this just a bump in the road or am I really done forever?
I don't know if anyone will even see this post, because nobody looks at my blog anymore, but thank you guys for the two years of great memories. Y'all really shaped my childhood and made me who I am today. Love you. -KEIRA

Hey guys...(if you're still here lol). I just wanted to say how sorry I am for not posting in 6 months. yeah.....I really have no excuse. I've just been kind of like, "I'll do it tommorrow" every day. I'm still super grateful for you guys! <3 So yeah, I'm back on. i'm going to post more lately (I promse, nt just every 6 months lol). I also wanted to give everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannakuh, Happy Kawanza, and Happy Bohdi Day! (I'm pretty sure Bohdi day already happened though) Updates: -I'm asking for the Costco Samantha set for Christmas -I love Melody sooo much -I think Tenley is gonna be so cute Also I renamed Ocean! She's now Luci. I think it suits her better. -Keira<3 PS I recently got a (now deleted) comment saying that I never actually got
those awards. I did, but on my old blog, The Dollhouse. :D K baiii! Hola! It's Keira! A while ago, a shipment of three Disney Classic dolls arrived!!! I was so excited. They were (almost) impossible to get out, but my womanly skills saved the day. I have plans for these dolls with this blog...*evil face*. I took Rapunzel out for a review. It kind of counts as a photoshoot, too, so if you don't care that much to what fabric her dress is or what I think about the texture of her hair, just look at the photos, lol. I apologize for the random bokeh. Also, the text on top goes with the picture below. Not the other way around :D Without further ado, I present you the review! (That rhymed! Ya, totally on purpose. Totally.) The Rapunzel doll is a Disney Store 2015 Classic Rapunzel doll. She has a sweet face. Her freckles are the most realistic ones Disney has made. She has pinkish coloring to her lips and just a bit of blush. Her eyebrows, in my opinion, are done very well and don't make her look snobby. She has silver and rose eyeshadow. (RANDOM BOKEH ALERT) Here's a closeup of her eyes. They are green, and the bottom half is a lighter green with white lines through it. There is a small line of brown around half the side of the iris. I'm really happy with her eyelashes. Disney has only done eyelashes on Rapunzel once, and I think it was 2014 or 2015 doll, and they were just three sticks extending from her eye. This 2015 doll's eyelashes are more realistic. Another full view of her face. Next, her hair. It's REALLY long, and a pretty honey-blonde. A lot of people are complaining about how thinly-rooted it is. I didn't notice anything. Her hair is surprising easier to care for than I thought it would be. Definitely not for a little girl, but maybe someone 9 or 10 plus, or maybe younger, depending on how mature. I did notice that if you put it in a braid for, like, five minutes, it would get little waves. Upon brushing it out, the waves came to as well, thankfully :D. Still on the subject of hair, it's gelled into a little swoop atop her head. At first I found it annoying, but now I love it! I sort of adds an effect of volume to her hair, and keeps the front parts out of her face. Onto her dress! The bodice is really pretty and silky. It's more of a lavender, despite the fact it looks pinkish in the photos, and I love the crossy-bow-thingie (lol, you know what I mean). The "crossy-bow-thingie" is a very light pink, so pink it's almost white. The poofy princess sleeves are striped and the lavendar bodice color with a darker purple. Extending from her poofy sleeves are sheer sleeves. They look white, but if you look really, really closely, or compare it to something white, you will see that it's actually slightly purple! They seem to be fraying already. The bottom skirt is really sparkly and the colors are so pretty! There are pretty curly-cues. I personally feel like the rhinestones were a bit much, but still! My only complaint is the feet portion. She didn't come with shoes, but she didn't wear them in the movie, I guess. I feel like the Disney Dolls' feet weren't proportionate. They felt weird and rubbery. Now here's some photos for you! All in all, Rapunzel is a beautiful doll! I definitely recommend her! I would rate her 9/10. -Keira
Hi, you guys! Sorry I haven't posted. We had final tests at school, but now it's SUMMER! Yay, lol! I'll be posted much more often. So, if you can remember, on my old blog I mentioned doing a photo series… well, since then, three new dolls have come to my collection! So, I created a different script that would include more than just four dolls. I'm also going to recast, as you would guess. I took out McKee today and took some photos. There's not too many, but they were a lot of fun to take! She's never really had an "official" photo shoot, so here is her first actual photo shoot! -Keira
Hi, everyone! I was nominated for the Great Doll Blog Award. Thank you so much, Victoria (victorialsmithauthor.blogspot.com)! The Award Rules are:
Let's get started! Here are the questions: If you could have any doll (AG or other), who would you want? I could take this two different ways. If you include retired, I would take Mary-Grace or Saige! Or Molly…or Elizabeth and Felicity…agh! So hard XD! But not retired, I would take Mary-Ellen. She's so cute! Who is your favorite Girl of the Year? This is so hard! I think my favorite is either Kanani or Nicki. Why did you start your doll blog? I really liked AG, and used to spend hours on their website. I think I looked up "ag crafts" or something, and americangirlfan popped up! I'm so glad I clicked on it. I was introduced to tons of other blogs, too. I wanted one REALLY badly, so with my dad's help, I made one! If you could have any custom doll, what would her features be? Why must you torture me! Ok, it would have the Ivy face mold but with Caroline's eyes and a blue Kanani wig. It would be so pretty! A bit crazy, but she would be my fave! What is your favorite kind of post to make? Photostories! I don't make them too often, sadly. My questions are: -If you had to give up all your dolls except one, which would you keep? -How did you discover the AG Internet (AGTube, AGIG, AG blogs) -How do you organize your doll things? -Where are your dolls kept? -Keira
Heyyy….yeah, long time no see! Sorry I haven't been posting lately-ok, maybe lately doesn't do my break justice. Well, I have been busy. Ok, that's a classic blogger excuse, but it's true. I went traveling a lot. I took 7 airplanes on my disappearance. We also bought a house…YAY! And built a new garden. That was hard. But, today, I finally had a free day! I wrote a bunch of ideas for photo serieses and took a photoshoot! So, here it is! -Keira
Greetings, Earthlings! I got a new doll for Christmas as you would have guessed from my last post. Well, I got……………….. Grace! I renamed her to McKee Lea Thomas, Mac for short. Her BFF (Isabelle) sometimes calls her Lea. Her backstory is that her mom is a famous fashion designer and her dad a famous singer. So, she likes to say that she's famous but she's not really. Her mom and dad divorced but they're still friends for McKee. Her mom moved to Paris so since McKee was 5 she spent 6 months in Paris and 6 months in the US. Her mom's house burnt down and McKee's mother couldn't get out of the house, so her father put her up for adoption when she was 10. She lived in the doll orphanage until she was 13, when she came to live with us. Because of this, she can be snobby and doesn't want to show weakness whatsoever. She loves fashion and is very hip. Besides this, she is an incredibly loyal friend and we try to welcome her as much as possible to make her feel better. -Keira
The girls gathered around the Christmas tree early this morning. They chatted excitedly. "Alright!" Kit announced excitedly. "I'm playing Santa this year! The first present here is for…… "Arwen!" Kit handed Arwen a big bag with a squirmy pug puppy in it. Arwen squealed. "Thank you, Secret Santa!!!" Arwen played with her newfound friend. "Um…" she began, after she sat down. "Was my Secret Santa…Ocean?" "Correct!" Ocean said. "Next is…Isabelle!" Kit handed her a brush. "Ohmygosh!" Isabelle exclaimed. "It's a GoKnot!" Looking around at people's confused faces, Isabelle added, "It's this brush that has this…uh, it's a REALLY nice brush. I think it was…Arwen?" "Nope, it was me!" Julie smiled. "I have one and it's AMAZING." "Next is…Ocean!" Kit called out, handing Ocean an Elsa POP! to which Ocean seemed very surprised. "How-how did they know? Oh! Rebecca! I borrowed her phone to look at POP!s online…she must have seen!" Rebecca winked. Kit handed a hastily wrapped round item. 'Here you are Lilly!" Julie smiled. She opened it up to find an adorable pug toy (that may or may not come to life in the future) that waddled when you turned it on! "AWW!" Juliana-Lilly gushed. "He's soooo cute! Um, I'm guessing you're my Secret Santa, Kit." Rebecca laughed. "Nope, me!" Next, it was Kit's turn! She found adorable bunny slippers! (Aren't they cute? I got them in my stocking!) Next, it was Rebecca's turn. She opened up her present and gasped. It was a Josefina mini doll. "Th-thank you so much, Kit!" "How'd you know?" "You're the only one left, silly! Thank you SO SO SOOOO much!" "Well, mom pitched in some, and you're so nice I know you're gonna share, and why not!" Rebecca gave Josie a big hug. "I love her!" "That's a wrap! Merry Christmas ya'll!" "Wait!" said Isabelle. "There's one more present….to McKee? Much love, Keira (Mom)?" "WHO?" Who is this McKee? Is she a new sister (yes, it's obvious)? What doll is she? BUM BA BUM! -Keira
Hi! So, today the lighting was really amazing outside so I took a photoshoot with Ocean! I called it Winter Buds because it's winter-y but I feel like it's kinda spring-y, too. Also, winter break just started! So happy holidays to everyone! And happy belated Hannakuh as well to my Jewish readers. Let's get started! Here is a bonus pic of my dolls cutely and patiently waiting to get their hair and clothes done for a photo story. -Keira
*casually walks in* Heyyy guys yeah I wasn't gone for two weeks at all! Heh heh heh. Sorry about the absence though, seriously! Grrr….I'm getting into a habit…I can't believe how cray-cray the holidays can be! Also, the Canon broke. So, my photos won't be half as good but I'll make do until it's fixed. Winter break is coming up soon, though, so that basically means check back everyday next week. No guarantees, though! You know me…….Anywhoosie, on with the story! It was an average day in the Jellybean household. Too average. Kit was having a mini dance party with Arwen… Isabelle was looking for her phone… Rebecca was making a To-Do List... Ocean was daydreaming about animals... And Juliana-Lilly was thinking about the tiny amount of Christmas spirit in the air. At her old place, she and Arwen had so many joyful, fun Christmas traditions. Juliana-Lilly missed those traditions a lot. She invited Rebecca into the hall. They had a brief talk, and then Lilly stuck her head out. "How does a Secret Santa sound?" "Awesome!" Kit yelled. Everyone agreed. "For once, you're right, Kit! This'll be so fun!" Isabelle cheered. Here they are! I hoped you like it! This isn't my best writing(for sure) and the photos aren't very good, but I missed blogging so I used my Dad's *cringe* phone. Just so you know, I CANNOT make phone photography work. Most of you can. Yeah, not for me. Oh, by the way, as soon as I took these photos I went to Happy House of AG, Loren's blog (she's awesome!) for the first time in a while, She had a secret santa post, too, lol! So, just kinda a disclaimer. Though I am constantly inspired by her everyday, this is just a coincidence. -Keira
