Hola! It's Keira! A while ago, a shipment of three Disney Classic dolls arrived!!! I was so excited. They were (almost) impossible to get out, but my womanly skills saved the day. I have plans for these dolls with this blog...*evil face*. I took Rapunzel out for a review. It kind of counts as a photoshoot, too, so if you don't care that much to what fabric her dress is or what I think about the texture of her hair, just look at the photos, lol. I apologize for the random bokeh. Also, the text on top goes with the picture below. Not the other way around :D
Without further ado, I present you the review! (That rhymed! Ya, totally on purpose. Totally.)
The Rapunzel doll is a Disney Store 2015 Classic Rapunzel doll.

The Rapunzel doll is a Disney Store 2015 Classic Rapunzel doll.
She has a sweet face. Her freckles are the most realistic ones Disney has made. She has pinkish coloring to her lips and just a bit of blush. Her eyebrows, in my opinion, are done very well and don't make her look snobby. She has silver and rose eyeshadow. (RANDOM BOKEH ALERT)
Here's a closeup of her eyes. They are green, and the bottom half is a lighter green with white lines through it. There is a small line of brown around half the side of the iris. I'm really happy with her eyelashes. Disney has only done eyelashes on Rapunzel once, and I think it was 2014 or 2015 doll, and they were just three sticks extending from her eye. This 2015 doll's eyelashes are more realistic.
Another full view of her face.
Next, her hair. It's REALLY long, and a pretty honey-blonde. A lot of people are complaining about how thinly-rooted it is. I didn't notice anything. Her hair is surprising easier to care for than I thought it would be. Definitely not for a little girl, but maybe someone 9 or 10 plus, or maybe younger, depending on how mature. I did notice that if you put it in a braid for, like, five minutes, it would get little waves. Upon brushing it out, the waves came to as well, thankfully :D.
Still on the subject of hair, it's gelled into a little swoop atop her head. At first I found it annoying, but now I love it! I sort of adds an effect of volume to her hair, and keeps the front parts out of her face.
Onto her dress! The bodice is really pretty and silky. It's more of a lavender, despite the fact it looks pinkish in the photos, and I love the crossy-bow-thingie (lol, you know what I mean). The "crossy-bow-thingie" is a very light pink, so pink it's almost white. The poofy princess sleeves are striped and the lavendar bodice color with a darker purple.
Extending from her poofy sleeves are sheer sleeves. They look white, but if you look really, really closely, or compare it to something white, you will see that it's actually slightly purple! They seem to be fraying already.
The bottom skirt is really sparkly and the colors are so pretty! There are pretty curly-cues. I personally feel like the rhinestones were a bit much, but still!
My only complaint is the feet portion. She didn't come with shoes, but she didn't wear them in the movie, I guess. I feel like the Disney Dolls' feet weren't proportionate. They felt weird and rubbery.
Now here's some photos for you!
All in all, Rapunzel is a beautiful doll! I definitely recommend her! I would rate her 9/10.
